Welcome to HEAR, EAT, HOME STORE. (direct link)
Hear, Eat, Home is a documentary that follows immigrant artists and musicians as they navigate identity, displacement, and belonging through the food and art of their homelands.
As part of HEAR, EAT, HOME, Spring Breeze, Taiwan, is a story of searching for identity. While living in the U.S., my nephew—a young Taiwanese man—grapples with the fractured nature of his national identity. Through music and the suppressed history of Taiwan’s White Terror era, he begins to reclaim what was lost.
Buying the merchandise is more than a fashion choice—it's a statement. Each purchase helps create space for connection, empathy, and shared stories. You're not just supporting the film; you're standing for a world where neighbors come together, share a meal, and break down boundaries.
The film title HEAR, EAT, HOME was designed by Taiwanese artist Hung-Ta Kuo (郭宏達), with versions in English, Traditional Chinese, and Japanese. The photograph of the Lilium formosanum was taken by Ming-Yung Luoh (駱明永) of Lilium Formosanum Studio. Thanks to my cousin Chien Yu Wei (衛建宇) for the communication. We are grateful to them for their generous support.
